Ah.... a little friendly sibling rivalry makes your surfing better. The Werbelow brothers are seen here looking for shade recently in the 92024. Both of them have been riding Murphy surfboards for a long time. Fish, thrusters, guns and logs. You know you have a cool family when your Mom takes photos of you surfing!
This was a really fun day with my brother. We were looking at the surf from the cliff and saw a lot of really fun waves north of this peak but it was crowded. So we opted to go a little south where the waves were a little less consistent but when they came, they were gems. We actually traded waves for a couple hours. People would paddle out where we were and then eventually paddle north. It was cool surfing on such a crowded day and being able to glide and it just be the two of us. As different as two brothers can be, when surfing at this spot we always agree that a couple boards from our Murphy Quiver will be perfect for a fun day of gliding.....
