JAG Media Productions

Local photographer Aaron Goulding (JAG Media Productions) caught JP in action last month here at a San Diego reef - doing it's mini-impersonation of cold, small Pipeline. JP had snapped his new 9'-0" earlier this day and went back out on his new 7'-11". Ah....the sweet smell of redemption. Nice work guys.//cm

Lightning Bolt

Show me your Lightning Bolt!
Now that the NFL season is over, it would have been nice for this SD local to ride his new board while the Chargers where actually in the playoffs. Alas, they are not. But this fan is hard core! New big wave bolt board for chasing down the Winter bombs.
You stay glassy San Diego.

Groms New XMas Murphy

This young fella scored quite possibly the best Christmas present that one could receive. A brand new surfboard. I can only imagine how excited he must have been. His name is Curran Brooker, son of Mikey Brooker - long time Murphy friend. Here's a quick excerpt from pops:

"Well as predicted the grommet got a Christmas present he'll never forget! To say he was stoked is the understatement of the year! He told every person he walked by while we were out walking the dog "Hey I got a new surfboard!"

Happy Holidays

Hope you all have a nice Holiday season and are able to get some slides - like our friend Adrian Felix - seen here - setting his edge on his trusty Murphy round-pin Tri.

New Tri

Chris lives in Northern Cal and surfs the Lane. He has a great little girl named Ashley. We placed her name next to his on his new ride. Please let all our friends know that we can deliver custom boards up north one at a time - or by the dozen up the coast for as little as $35 usd's with the help of Leon Fitchat and his custom trailer. He travels most weeks and is very dependable.
Thanks for the order Mr. Roth!

Summer Vengance in LJ

New board and note from JP.
hey chris. here are some pics of my new 7'4" SUMMER VENGANCE MODEL. its a rounded thumbtail with single wing thruster with plenty of width thru the board, but it has a stealthy rocket nose. my vision with DENNIS's amazing ability to transfer it to surfboard. i cant wait to get this one in some summer south swells.

Glassed In n Ready to Sin

Just finished this 6'-8" custom tri-fin for Judson.
Judson is a solid fan of the Murphy Shapes and now has added this one to his building quiver. Dennis and Chris threw out some ideas to Judson - he concurred - and the end product, with glassed-on fins, came out pretty damn nice.

Stoke Spreading

"All good things are wild and free."- Henry David Thoreau
This quote from a calendar in my kitchen reminds me of JP from Gold Fish Point. He is all about spreading the stoke. This 7'4" he hooked me up with is most definitely an extension of that. And check the killer custom paint job on the bottom.. A rockin' rocker fo sho. Thanks JP.

The Waiting Period

J.P. Marengo lives in La Jolla California. He likes to hunt. Big waves. He's getting ready to kill something - he likes game from the North/West angle. Right now it's cold. Flat. Here's his new gun (The Longun) custom built by Dennis. It's locked and loaded. The 8'-6" pintail is loaded with glass-on fins. No BS'ing around when it's time. He keeps waiting. Patiently.
