Here's a shot from last summer in the 92024. It's a sweet shot taken by David Gray.

A Murphy Quiver

Rob Reed has been riding our boards now for a couple of years. Through discussions with friends, and fellow All Ride Surf Club members, Chris Miller, Jason Werbelow and Bob Scott, he has put together a small quiver that fills his needs.
* 9' Everyman's Squash (old faithful)
* 7'-6" Tri-Fin/Egg hybrid
* 9' Everyman's Squash (his new version)

And this is his son Finn. Looks like the La Costa Canyon High School Surf Team has a future goofy foot A team rider!

Mayhem Meets Roadkill

Check out the new long board of Dave Sams. Besides being a former team rider for Murphy and Iron Cross, this long time resident of Santa Cruz is also the Art Director for I Tunes. He ordered 2 boards with his signature art work and laminates.
"Mayhem Meets Roadkill". Here is his Everyman's Squash nine-footer for performing in waves 6' and over.

The Cardiff Kook

Just waiting to see what the summer hi-jinx may have in store for the biggest kook in Cardiff. This Wire Man was up about a year ago and was quite clever. He was slashing behind the kook. Here's hoping that someone creative does something soon.

Same Time Last Year

Not much to report on the wave front here. Made me think about my trip last year to Fiji. Here's a couple of shots of rides I remember clearly. Seems like it was eons ago. If you should ever have a chance to visit this island chain - do it. Ideal setting, crystal clear water, good fun and great people and culture. CM~

Murphy 7'-6" thruster going right.

Murphy 9'-0" going left......forever and ever...........
