Winter Time Six Eight

This is G4's new enzo @ 6'8". Whaddaya think?! He's our sander at Diamond Glassing and a shaper himself. He came up to the ranch to help out with this gem. This is a perfect example of when two heads are definitely better than one! Alex treated him to a dual-tone mint and smoke combo tint. It's finished in a sanded acrylic for light weight performance. The fin complement is our new 7" Flex Cutter with a pair of 2" sides for edge control in tight pockets. Come and get one while the surf is grinding. dm

Lucas Foster

Here's a few shots of our team rider Lucas doing his thing at a recent WSA/high school surf contest. Lucas is riding a more traditional style log with a glassed in single-fin - which netted him an appearance in the Finals in small, clean conditions at Church's/Trestles. Way to go Lucas!

Check out the new tanker shaped for our friend Aaron Foster of Encinitas. It's a 10'-6" combo cruiser which is a custom shape that incorporates a couple of boards best characteristics. Triple stringer, volan inlays, and a custom 9.5" glassed-in Bahne fin. Watch out for this glider at Cardiff Reef, GrandView or Old Mans/SanO!

Tom's New Toy

Hooked up with my old high school friend Tom Wenborne and created a copy of a board I made for him about 20 years ago! Great all-arounder for a bigger guy. Tom was a good friend from the old neighborhood and quite a football player to boot. Enjoy the new yellow scorcher my friend! dm

Murphy In the Maldives

New Balsa

Brand new balsa shaped by Dennis for a Las Olas customer in Baja. It will be glassed by Alex at his factory in Ensenada BC and then delivered to it's new owner in San Jose del Cabo BC. We can build any size balsa board for anyone - completely made here in San Diego at Diamond Glassing USA. Dim: 10'-0" x 23"wide x 3"thick.

Mainland Memoirs

Here's a note - and photos - from my Special Agent/Team Rider/long-time bud Chris Miller. He recently returned from a trip to Mainland Mexico and clearly had a great time - dm, "el guapo" "Here's a few fotos from the trip. It was like this almost every day. The old comp longboard you shaped for me around 2005, is still alive. I took her down about 4 years ago and stashed her at my friends casita near the point. She's a bit browner and heavier than I remembered, but still has the magic. My friend Larry rode this board 5 years ago and dubbed it the Love Wand (i think he actually loved it). Thanks again for all the great boards over the last 20 years! Damn, I'm getting old..."
